Environmental Management System

The Coca-Cola Quality System is the Company's management system for product quality, environmental, and occupational safety and health. The environmental component of our quality system, known as eKOsystem, incorporates the international environmental management system standard ISO 14001, while including additional requirements tailored to our business.

eKOsystem provides common operating requirements for all Company and bottling operations. It helps to ensure that environmental stewardship is incorporated into our operations, even in countries with few environmental safeguards.

eKOsystem includes management system standards and environmental performance standards, supported by detailed management and control requirements in key areas such as: water resource management; wastewater discharge; energy management; ozone protection; fleet management; waste management; hazardous materials management; due diligence; and measuring and reporting environmental performance.
