Coca-Cola VP Among black enterprise Magazine's "75 Most Powerful Women in Business"

Kathy Waller, Vice President and Controller, The Coca-Cola Company, is featured among black enterprise magazine's 2010 list of the "75 Most Powerful Women in Business."

Waller, who chairs our Company's Women's Leadership Council, was elected Controller in July 2009. In her previous role as Chief of Internal Audit, she managed worldwide internal audit processes, with key responsibilities for the Company's compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and corporate governance matters.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Waller joined the Company in 1987 as a senior accountant in the Accounting Research Department. Three years later, she became principal accountant for the Northeast Europe/Africa Group and, in 1991, became marketing controller for the McDonald's Group. In 1996, she was named financial services manager for the Africa Group and The Minute Maid Company. She served as director of Financial Reporting from 1998 to 2004.

Prior to joining the Company, Waller worked for the firm now known as Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. She received her bachelor's and MBA degrees from the University of Rochester in New York.
