Email and Internet Scams

Rumor: "Which do you prefer? Coke or Pepsi" emails and websites

 Our Response:  Emails and links to websites asking the question, "Which do you prefer? Coke or Pepsi," are originating from several different companies and circulating the Internet. The emails and websites ask that participants fill out surveys regarding product preferences. The communications promise product, cash or other prizes in return for providing personal information while participating in the surveys. Unfortunately, these are examples of the types of solicitation schemes that have plagued the Internet. The Coca-Cola Company does not participate in these types of promotions, and we are in no way associated with or responsible for the emails or the surveys. We are not a sponsor of these communications and our trademarks are used there without our permission.
