Latina Style, Hispanic Business Magazines Salute Coca-Cola

Hispanic Business Magazines Salute Coca-Cola

Two leading Hispanic business magazines have again recognized The Coca-Cola Company for our winning diversity strategies in the U.S.

Our Company was named among Hispanic Business magazine's "Diversity Elite 60" for 2011. To complete the list, Hispanic Business contacted the top FORTUNE 1,000 companies, American subsidiaries of Global 500 companies and large U.S. public and private companies. Companies were evaluated on their commitment to Hispanic hiring/recruitment, retention/promotion, leadership/Board, marketing, community outreach and supplier diversity.

We also made LATINA Style's 2010 list of the "50 Best Companies for Latinas to Work for in the U.S." Now in its 14th year, this annual report sets the standard for identifying corporations that are providing the best career opportunities for Latinas.

More than 800 companies were evaluated on a range of workplace issues, including: number of Latina executives and board members, mentoring and training programs, educational opportunities, alternative work policies and other employee benefits, affinity groups and Hispanic relations. We have made the LATINA Style list every year since 2002.

"It's truly an honor to be recognized for our commitment to diversity. It reaffirms that our diversity strategies and programs continue to drive positive results," said Frank Ros, Vice President, Hispanic Strategies. "We believe diversity leads to more creativity, which drives more and better innovation, ultimately resulting in positive business results... it's just smart business."
