Girino: The Computer Game Tadpole Promoting Water Sustainability in Switzerland

Promoting Water Sustainability in Switzerland

Coca-Cola Switzerland is raising awareness about the importance of protecting water through a new online computer game, created in partnership with the Foundation for Practical Environmental Protection Switzerland (PUSCH).

Designed for young people, the educational game is hosted at www.girino.ch and features a tadpole called Girino, whose job is to eat everything that shouldn't be in the pond, such as litter and pesticides.

The game gives handy hints on responsible water use, offering young people a fun way to learn about water sustainability. It features three exciting levels, each with its own theme: water as a natural habitat, water in the beverage industry, and water as our most important source of hydration.

The game also allows Facebook users to challenge their friends to see who can keep the water the cleanest.

Coca-Cola Switzerland's strong relationship with PUSCH also included creating an educational exhibition on the water cycle, which launched last year.
