Mr. Alexis Sacre is President of the Middle East Business Unit of The Coca-Cola Company.
Mr. Sacre joined Coca-Cola Hellenic in 1997. In January 1998, he was appointed Country General Manager in Bulgaria and, in 2002, Country General Manager in Romania and Moldova.
In September 2004, Mr. Sacre was promoted to the position of Regional Director, responsible for Coca-Cola Hellenic’s operations in Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, and became a member of the operating committee, the highest executive body within Hellenic. He moved to his current position at The Coca-Cola Company in October 2008.
Prior to joining Coca-Cola, Mr. Sacre spent many years at Abela, an International Food Service and Hotel Management Company with head offices in London. He held several leadership roles there from 1984 until 1997.
He began his career in the European office of D’Appolonia Consulting Engineers, a Pittsburgh-based Geotechnical Engineering Company.
Mr. Sacre holds a Bachelor in Engineering degree from the American University of Beirut, an MS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and an MBA from INSEAD.
