Mr. Selcuk Erden is President of the Southern Eurasia Business Unit of The Coca-Cola Company.

Mr. Erden joined the Coca-Cola system in 1996 as Business Development Consultant performing several projects for the Company in Turkey and Central Asia. In 2001, he became President of the Southern Eurasia Business Unit covering ten countries: Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Krygyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. In this role, Mr. Erden manages a team composed of marketing, operations, finance, technical, legal, human resources and public affairs functions and associates. 

Prior to joining Coca-Cola, Mr. Erden worked as the General Manager of Komili Edible Oils, Soaps and Glycerine company between 1982-1992, then as the General Manager of Unikom company (a joint venture between Komili and Unilever) between 1992-1996. 

Mr. Erden was a Professor of Engineering at Bosphorus University at Istanbul, Turkey, teaching in both the Civil and Industrial Engineering Departments between 1974 and 1982.  He also served as the Chairman of the Industrial Engineering Department. 

Mr. Erden is a graduate of Robert College, Istanbul, and University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and holds a PhD degree in Engineering.
