Edmund R. Steinike

Edmund R. Steinike is chief development officer and chief information officer for the North America Group. Ed's dual role encompasses responsibility for worldwide application development for the company as well as IT leadership for the North America business unit.

Ed joined The Coca-Cola Company in June, 2002, as chief technology officer responsible for developing and executing global strategies for IT infrastructure and operations. His accountabilities included global networks, desktops, data centers, information security, information warehouse, and IT architecture.

Prior to joining The Coca-Cola Company, Ed spent over 25 years with General Electric (GE) in management and executive leadership roles. Ed served as CIO for GE Corporate, as well as a number of GE divisions including Energy Products and Energy Services, both divisions of GE Power Systems, as well as GE Medical Systems. He also held key leadership roles in R&D, Operations, Global Service, and Manufacturing for GE Medical Systems.

Ed holds a Bachelors Degree in electrical engineering from Marquette University.
