Gary P. Fayard, chief financial officer, joined the Company in 1994 as vice president and controller. Mr. Fayard was promoted to his current position in 2003. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Company's two largest public bottling partners, Coca-Cola Enterprises and Coca-Cola FEMSA.
Mr. Fayard also serves on the Board of the Atlanta Area Council of the Boy Scouts and The University of Alabama Board of Visitors. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs. He previously has served on the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council and the American Assembly at Columbia University, as well as the Boards of the Alliance Theater and American Kidney Foundation.
Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Fayard served 19 years with Ernst & Young, concluding his service there as a partner, area director of audit services and area director of manufacturing services. Mr. Fayard is a graduate of The University of Alabama.
