A New Era In Private-Public Partnership: Coca-Cola India Dedicates Five New Rainwater Harvesting Projects To Community
Coca-Cola India (CCI) is setting an example for corporate social responsibility with the dedication of five rainwater harvesting projects in the city of Lucknow. Together, the five projects have the potential to recharge 30,000 liters of ground water annually. The rainwater harvesting project was commissioned with the support of Brindavan Bottlers Ltd., the authorized Coca-Cola bottler there.
CCI continually works to conserve and recharge ground water and to create awareness for the need for water conservation and ground water recharge. CCI has also commissioned two rainwater harvesting projects in the Varanasi district, with an annual ground water recharge potential of more than 80,000 liters.
