On May 10, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) honored The Coca-Cola Company, Chairman and CEO Neville Isdell, and his wife Pamela with its International Leadership Award.

The International Leadership Award pays tribute to exceptional individuals and corporations whose vision, imagination and creativity have left an indelible mark upon the global community. The ADL defines international leaders as those who combine corporate success with a profound commitment to community involvement and to crossing borders and barriers with a message of cultural diversity and equal opportunity.

"Pamela and Neville have developed a genuinely global perspective on civil rights, justice and tolerance,” said Abraham H. Foxman, national director, Anti-Defamation League. “Their lifelong experiences in a variety of cultures have instilled a strong belief in education and cultural immersion as means to building understanding and respect. Pamela has spent a lifetime supporting educational, environmental and cultural organizations around the world. It is our pleasure to honor this superb team as a couple."

Mr. Foxman added: "The Coca-Cola Company is a founding partner of the ADL's Corporate Leadership Council. The council will set the standard for translating values into action. We deeply value this partnership and look forward to working together."

The ADL was founded in 1913 "to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all." ADL is the nation’s premier civil rights/human relations agency fighting anti-Semitism and all forms of hatred and bigotry. A leader in the development of materials, programs and advocacy services, ADL builds bridges of communication, understanding and respect among diverse groups, carrying out its mission through a network of 30 regional and satellite offices in the United States and around the world.
