• The original Fantanas® were launched nationally in the U.S. in 2002 as the icon for the Fanta® brand

• The original quartet depicted Fanta's Orange, Strawberry, Grape and Pineapple flavors
• The original Fantanas lived on Fantana Island and were discovered accidently by entertainment mogul Sir Juan-Carlos Martinez when he fell off his yacht and washed ashore on the island
• The Fantanas foursome took a hiatus on October 1, 2006
• The new Fantanas were unveiled on June 3, 2009
