international screen idol Jackie Chan (left) and pop star
Selina ignite the crowd during Saturday evening festivities
at the Coca-Cola Shuang Zone at "The
Place," the hot entertainment gathering spot during
the Olympic Games in Beijing. Selina -- from the Taiwanese
girl band S.H.E., which also performed Saturday -- and
Chan rallied the audience during the "Golden Moment
Celebration," which takes place nightly at 8:08 p.m.
SHUANG EXPERIENCE CENTER
BEIJING, August 2008 -- The Coca-Cola "Shuang
Experience Center," in the heart of Beijing's Olympic
Green, includes a showcase of environmental initiatives
by The Coca-Cola Company (left) and a "perfect serve"
of ice-cold Coca-Cola, delivered at 3 C (right). The interactive
visitor center also features celebrations of China and
the Olympic Torch Relay, plus exhibits of Chinese folk
art and the 80-year heritage of Coca-Cola with the Olympic
Games.
PARTY CENTRAL AT "THE PLACE"
BEIJING, August 2008 -- Open daily from
10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., the Coca-Cola Shuang Zone at
"The Place" in Beijing features Olympic pin
trading, interactive games, Olympic Games telecasts, and
nightly entertainment and concert parties starring popular
local artists. At 8:08 each evening, the celebrity-studded
"Golden Moment Celebration" honors new Olympic
Games medalists from China.
BEIJING, August 2008 -- Life-sized cutouts
of basketball Olympians LeBron James (left) and Yao Ming
flank the two-meter-high, three-dimensional version of
the new "Unity Bottle" on public display in
the Coca-Cola Shuang Zone at "The Place." The
two superstar athletes jointly designed the artwork for
the Coca-Cola contour bottle as a symbol
of global harmony and cultural collaboration, in celebration
of the world coming together for the Beijing 2008 Olympic
Games. Yao and James produced the special design
using the interactive tools at the consumer Web site "Design
the World a Coke."
Producers and technicians make final preparations
for daily festivities at the Coca-Cola Shuang
Zone at "The Place," in Beijing's popular central business
district. The public celebration site is anchored by a
20-ton, 15-meter-high, LED Coca-Cola bottle
(right) -- the largest and most advanced of its kind --
positioned under the biggest LED sky-screen in Asia. During
the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, the Shuang Zone at The
Place features daily concerts, nightly parties and athlete
celebrations, Olympic Games telecasts, interactive games
and other activities. A second, family-oriented Coca-Cola
Shuang Zone, located in Chao Yang Park, is anchored by
the Coca-Cola Official Olympic Pin Trading
Center. Coca-Cola also hosts the interactive
"Shuang Experience Center" attraction near the "Bird's
Nest" National Stadium, within Beijing's Olympic Green
complex of sports facilities.

BEIJING, August 2008 -- Young artists representing
every region of mainland China, as well as Hong Kong,
Macau and Taiwan, celebrate the unveiling of the "Show
My Hometown to the World" exhibition at the Coca-Cola
Shuang Experience Center in Beijing. Their 34 artworks
were the winning designs in a nationwide contest themed
to China's cultural diversity. The designs are depicted
on two-meter-high, three-dimensional versions of the trademark
Coca-Cola contour bottle. The exhibition
lasts through August 24, the final day of the Beijing
2008 Olympic Games.
SHOWING CHINAS CULTURAL DIVERSITY
TO THE WORLD
BEIJING, August 2008 -- At the Coca-Cola
Shuang Experience Center in Beijing's Olympic Green, the
many faces of China are depicted on large, three-dimensional
versions of the Coca-Cola contour bottle. The 34 folk
art designs -- representing every region of mainland China,
along with Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan -- were the winning
entries in a nationwide contest created to showcase China's

GIANT LED BOTTLE
The new LED Coca-Cola contour bottle, standing
15 meters high (nearly 50 feet) and weighing 20 tons,
is the largest and most advanced of its kind. During the
Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, the bottle serves as a centerpiece
for public entertainment and celebration activities day
and night at the Coca-Cola Shuang Zone at
"The Place," in the host city's popular central
business district.
OLYMPIC PIN TRADING
The Coca-Cola Company, which
in 2008 celebrates two full decades as the official presenter
of Olympic pin trading, has produced an extraordinary
variety of lapel pin designs for the Beijing 2008 Olympic
Games, including (left to right) pins celebrating the
nationwide "Shuang" campaign in China, a "Golden
Heroes" pin set, and depictions of the Coca-Cola
"WE8" aluminum contour bottle designs by leading
Chinese visual artists.
BUILDING A BIRD'S NEST
More than 500 limited-edition pin designs
-- including this "Birds Nest" stadium
puzzle pin set -- are available through the Coca-Cola
Official Olympic Pin Trading Center at Chao Yang Park
and other Coca-Cola pin venues around Beijing.
