STUDENT FILMMAKERS AT WORLD PREMIERE

BEIJING, 13 August 2008 -- Student filmmakers from Georgia State University, in Atlanta, Georgia (USA), were among special guests Wednesday for world premiere of their collaborative film documentary, "Environmental Champions," at the Coca-Cola Shuang Experience Center in Beijing.  In left photo (left to right), film project faculty advisor Niklas Vollmer with his student producers Micah Stansell, Phoebe Brown and Shanna Gildersleeve. In right photo, the GSU foursome is joined by three of the seven environmental champion torchbearers featured in the new film, (from left) Liu Hong-Liang, from China; Douglas Stoup, from the United States; and Nikolay Drozdov, from Russia.

BEIJING, 13 August 2008 -- The new film documentary, "Environmental Champions," makes its screen debut this evening at the Coca-Cola Shuang Experience Center on Beijing's Olympic Green. The student production profiles the personal stories and achievements of seven environmental champion torchbearers selected by Coca-Cola for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Torch Relay.

BEIJING, 13 August 2008 -- Environmental champion torchbearers (left to right) Nikolay Drozdov, from Russia, Douglas Stoup, from the United States, and Liu Hong-Liang, from China, hold special "I’m From Earth" Coca-Cola T-shirt at ceremonies for world premiere of new film documentary, "Environmental Champions." The exclusive T-shirts, made from a blend of cotton and recycled PET plastic beverage bottles, were provided for all of the approximately 15,000 athletes and team officials from around the world participating in the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.  In second photo, Drozdov addresses media at Wednesday's film premiere event.
