The Coca-Cola Neon Spectacular, located atop the old Olympia building at 22 Peachtree Street (at the intersection of Peachtree Street and Edgewood Avenue).
- The sign contains more than a mile of red neon
- More than 10,280 bulbs make the sign glow, making it visible for miles
- More than 25,000 feet of wiring keep the sign running - that's longer than 80 football fields!
- Including primer and finish coats, the sign contains 26 gallons of paint - that's more than 277 cans of Coca-Cola!
- The matrix component has capabilities for full shading effects on text, beautiful graphics and high-speed animations
- There are more than 283 points of animation on the sign to make the lights fill, twinkle, flash and script
- In addition to the current time and temperature, the sign will feature community and/or Coca-Cola messages
- Construction of the sign and the components took four months
- Installation of the sign at the site took six weeks
