The trainer of some of Austria's legendary athletes, Mr. Bergmueller is best known for propelling Hermann Maier to two gold medals at the Nagano 1998 Olympic Winter Games and then rehabilitating the skiing star after Maier was seriously injured in a 2002 motorcycle accident. Maier earned a silver medal and a bronze medal this month at the XX Olympic Winter Games here.
